Barbara’s career began as co-host/co-producer for CKLN radio’s film show, Frameline, which now continues as both a radio programme and a podcast. She is a regular contributor to POV Magazine, Exclaim!, and Screen Anarchy. She has also written for numerous dailies and magazines such as That Shelf, Box Office Magazine, The Globe and Mail, and Toronto Life, and has contributed pieces to several books. A veteran of the Canadian film industry, Barbara has worked in many key areas including distribution and programming and has also served on various festival juries. She is a member of the Alliance of Women Film Journalists.
