In a love-in at the Spoke Club on Monday, Dec. 16, TFCA President Peter Howell gave a warm introduction to a long-time friend-of-film, Michèle Maheux, the former TIFF executive director/COO and the 2019 recipient of the Technicolor Clyde Gilmour Award winner for service to Canadian cinema. She, in turn, regaled the membership with warm memories of our decades working together, films good and bad, and our shared experiences with some of the most colourful characters Canadian film has produced.
