The Toronto Film Critics Association’s annual TIFF kick-off party returned! This year’s party was generously sponsored by Telefilm Canada and celebrated the return of seeing movies back on the big screen as the festival returned to a full in-person event. The party was held on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at The Rec Room in Toronto. Guests in attendance included TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey, Women Talking director Sarah Polley, and many of the Canadian directors and talents with feature films in this year’s festival, as well as the team behind Canada’s Oscar submission for Best International Feature, Eternal Spring, and many members of the Canadian and international press. The event included a sneak peek of Telefilm Canada’s Back to Cinema campaign, directed by LeSean Harris.
