TFCA President Peter Howell and Technicolor Clyde Gilmour Award honouree Tantoo Cardinal watch the stars align at the Gilmour dinner Dec. 10 at the Gladstone Hotel. In a lovely, off-the-cuff acceptance speech, Tantoo spoke graciously about the role of critics in her 100-plus credit acting career, and said cheekily even negative reviews were appreciated because it meant they were paying attention.
